The Minnesota and South Dakota Limousin
Associations have jointly agreed to sponsor
the 2008 National Limousin Show in Sioux
Falls, SD!!!

The
National Board has considered their application and has
awarded the hosting of the 2008 show to
the two states.
Moving forward, the two states are in the process of
setting up joint committees, with each committee
having half of its members from Minnesota and half from
South Dakota. Then the planning and fund-
raising can begin.
The Minnesota members received this message from the
MNLA board at the yearly meeting and banquet.
"In July of 2008, we will be hosting the National Junior
Limousin Show in Sioux Falls in partnership with
South Dakota. We are looking for people to chair
and fill committees. We have a list of committees
suggested by NALF for members to pick from (see below.)
If you have a preference or a desire to do a specific
task, let Allen Lyon or Chris Herman know so when we
start putting committees together we can
put you where you prefer.
We plan to put the committees together this spring so we
can start fundraising and doing other planning
that needs to get started next fall and winter.
Also, if anyone would like to help with the planning or
has suggestions, please let us know. We have the
Sioux Empire Fairgrounds booked and the Sheraton Hotel
will be our headquarters. With the support of the
two states and the city of Sioux Falls, we look forward
to
a very successful show." |
